Mindful Sessions is a support group for those living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). The aim of the group is to allow people to connect with others in similar situations and to support each other through the highs and lows of life with this condition.
Why Mindful Sessions?
After being diagnosed with relapse/remitting MS myself in 2024, I wanted to try and improve my mobility and stress management so turned to yoga. Personally, this has been a fantastic and enjoyable way to move my body, which led me to begin my yoga teacher training.
When researching MS specific support in Inverness, I discovered there wasn’t a lot of options and wondered why, especially when lots of lovely communities existed in other places within other ‘wellness’ circles. With the help and support of the MS Society and The Oxygen Works, I created the idea of Mindful Sessions.
